This new winemaking facility is situated in a completely open area in a landscape of outstanding natural beauty and in proximity to the company headquarters. Its modernity is expressed through the use of colour and contemporary materials within volumes inspired by traditional forms. In this way, the implanting of the building and its forms respond to the existing building heritage onto which it faces. Tower architecture is reinterpretated by the rotundal form of the reception space whilst the working spaces take on the more sobre forms of lodge and annexe accommodation. The use of solid prefabricated concrete walling, insulated on the exterior face, insures economic energy use and stable thermic conditions.
