This project, open to the public, is composed of several seperate buildings linked by pathways and numerous courtyards. Visitors follow the pathways and whilst doing so discover the behaviour of various animals which are left to live as freely as possible. At the same time that traditional scale is maintained, the buildings are treated with contemporary styling, a link being made between the quality of the buildings’ insertion into the landscape and careful construction detailing. Award : BDA-Preis Baden-Württemberg 1994
