The building is situated in the perimeter of a protected zone, close to a protected water zone. The insertion of the building into its surroundings following the contours and natural level changes allows the visual impact of the ensemble to be reduced whilst preserving the possibility of draining the waste pit and facilitating the entry into the treatment zone. Ruptures in the height of the structure follow the natural height differences in order to limit the potential massiveness of the whole and this without the necessity to use internal columns which would have reduced the internal functionality. All cladding finishes are in treated imber for the totality of the facades. The roof, in fibrous cement, is in an anthracite tint. Translucent panels in the roof allow light penetration to the interior.
