The ensemble consists of pen facilities with straw covered flooring, a nursery area and a waiting zone, an open slurry pit and a waste pit for effluents. Timber is used for the structure, cladding and door frames whilst the roofing is in fibrous cement. The walls of the pens are in concrete block and in cast concrete for the slurry pit and the waste pit. The volumes of the buildings are composed of two double-pitched structures placed one against the other.
